There has never been a better time to improve your English and maths skills. You can study at all levels up to Level 2 and then on to GCSE.
We will meet with you before you enrol to make sure you are learning at the level that is right for you, and don’t worry if it has been a while since you last studied, we are here to guide and support you.
English and maths courses
Improving your English skills will look good on your CV, help you to understand your children’s school work and give you extra confidence with everyday tasks. These courses will help you to understand and demonstrate how real life English and maths can be applied to everyday contexts.
They are a great way to build confidence with English and maths as well as gain a recognised qualification.
We can offer you opportunities to study at different times during the day, in the evenings or online.
These English and maths courses are free to applicants who do not currently hold a Level 2 or above in the relevant subject (terms and conditions apply).

English and maths GCSE
We are also offer the following English and maths GCSE courses:
- Maths Foundation
- Maths Higher
These English and maths GCSE courses are free to applicants who do not currently hold a grade C or above.
A GCSE information and guidance session is compulsory (allow 2.5 hours) for those wishing to enrol on an English or maths GCSE course from September. This session will comprise a short assessment in the subject you are intending to study, plus further information on what is involved in studying for a GCSE and the amount of homework which will be required. These sessions will be available leading up to courses starting in September.

If you would like to do a GCSE but are not confident or are not yet ready to take your GCSE, we also offer a Pre-GCSE course which will allow you to brush up on your skills and may lead to a qualification - give you a taster of what the GCSE course will involve.
