Funding Opportunities

There is government funding available for learners who are keen to boost their qualifications and achieve their educational goals but are in need of some financial assistance to support their learning. 

While qualifying criteria applies (click here to view), the following funds are available. 

Accredited courses (Qualifications and Skills for Employment)

The Discretionary Learning Support Fund can assist learners who are studying on accredited courses with ACL. It can be used to help with the cost of your course (up to 75%), childcare, study resources including compulsory books, and transport to and from your course. 

Non-accredited courses (Creative Experience)

The CL Bursary Fund for non-accredited courses. It can be used to help with the cost of your course (up to 75%, provided you have paid the full fee), childcare, study resources including compulsory books, and transport to and from your course. 

The 19+ Bursary Loan (Advanced Learning Loans)

If you are on a course and have taken out a 19+ advanced learner loan, it can be used to help with the cost of  childcare, study resources including compulsory books, and transport to and from your course
